Tangier, Kiss of life | A poem

Tangier, the city of lights

Where dreams and hope chant in a harmonious choir

Streets belt out prayers. Waves kiss the warm sand.

Every soft breeze of wind unveils a confession.

Colours intertwine in the air. Markets hum with life and sounds.

The aroma of spices, a warm sensual perfume,

Tangier, In your arms I find peace,

Old streets twist like untold tales; mysteries linger.

A haven of peace, a piece of heaven, a divine dream.

Kids laugh by the shore, kites soar high in joyful flight,

Freedom in the wind.

Sugary mint tea and voices blend. Life flows like the tide.

In every corner, history echoes softly, whiffs of the past.

Here in Tangier, where many worlds collide,

Art is found in paths.

A place to wander, with open eyes and smiles,

Memories to keep.

Tangier sunsets, melancholic euphoria,

Nights whisper promises, hopes, and dreams.

In Tangier, my heart beats slowly.

In this mesmerising place, I want to believe. Tangier, you gave me the kiss of life !
